Douglas Johnson began his career in abstracting in 1993 with a degree in Geographic Information Systems. He then got a position with the Todd County Recorder's office. Doug later transferred to the assessor's office, learning to read and write legal descriptions and working in the auditor/treasurer's office. In 2001 he started the business. Throughout the years, Douglas has continued his education, getting his real estate license and attending seminars and courses on enhancing his knowledge of local trends in the real estate market.

Sande Forster started her abstracting career in 1993. Sande has taken various real estate courses, including the Minnesota Land Title Association Course II Title Examinations and Minnesota Real Estate Titles and Title Insurance Course.
